We made it! The day was long and tiring. I’ve been a bit nauseated sense they delivered my IV Chemo this afternoon, but no major complaints. Thank you Jesus! A little weak and a little tired today, but still got out of the room for PT and had dinner with my two favorite humans.
I hope to have the results back from my LP after rounds tomorrow. Please continue to pray that there are ZERO cancer cells found in the spinal fluid.
Things at home seem to be settling into a groove a bit. At least that’s what everyone is telling me. (I have a feeling they wouldn’t tell me otherwise.) I had a donation of milk dropped off today, and have a donation set up for this weekend. Thank you Brackett Mama for sharing your liquid gold with our sweet Ryan, and my beloved friend Kara who asked her friend for a donation as well. You ladies are LOVE! Thank you for the additional offers and I’m sure I’ll be reaching back out once we figure out where we are with supply and demand. Please continue to pray that the milk transition goes smoothly for Miss Ryan.
I could make a list a mile long of things I still want and need prayer for, but tonight I’m choosing to tell you how awesome our God is.
- He has blessed me abundantly with each of YOU! Messages, calls, text, pictures, thoughts, prayers, energy, vibes.
- He has provided so much food for myself and my family.
- He has provided me with compassionate and understanding staff.
- He has aloud me to keep moving physically.
- He has minimized my side effects.
- He placed this amazing girl in my life 10+ years ago, knowing she would be exactly what my family needed today.
- He aloud a trial and error for Ryan’s care in the beginning that seemed stressful and unnecessary, that ultimately ended with us having the perfect caregiver during this challenging time.
- He made sure that Ryan has one of the most giving and loving aunts in the entire world.
- He matched me with the most selfless provider I’ve ever known, to be my best friend, and to hold me in my absolutely weakest moments.
- He gave me the feistiest baby girl that pushes me to be strong and do better every single day.
- He provided me a great job that hasn’t made being away so stressful. With great people who’ve checked on me often.
- He placed me in the perfect church over a year ago, knowing they would BE the church for me today.
By no means am I saying I’m good or even that today was a good day. What I am saying, is that I’m blessed.
