March 12, 2019

This time next week, I’ll be home! I’m looking forward to so many things that I’ve taken for granted over the years. Remember to take a moment every day to enjoy the little things.

Pain Update

I’m still experiencing pretty significant lower back pain. I’ve had many test and consultations which have essentially ruled out anything major. We resolved to wait and see for another 24 hours. Please continue to pray for total pain resolution.

Hair?

Yesterday, I noticed an abnormal amount of hair on my pillow. Today, there was hair everywhere. They told me it would start falling out between 2-4 weeks, so it sounds like we’re right on track. Naked head coming soon!

Chemo Day

Thank you for your prayers today. Chemo went well, and I’ve continued to have very limited side effects with my current chemotherapy drugs. Thank you Lord for answered prayers, and my amazing prayer warriors!

    James 1:2-8
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
